Welcome to the Doctoral Symposium of the 17th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Utility and Cloud Computing (UCC). The Doctoral Symposium is a forum for PhD students to present their work in the early stages of their research. It aims to provide a safe place for PhD students to meet and interact with peers, and more importantly, to receive constructive feedback about their work from experts in the field of cloud computing and/or big data analytics. The Doctoral Symposium for UCC 2024 is planned during the main conference and is hosted by the University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in December 16-19, 2024.

We invite submissions from PhD students, at any stage of their doctoral studies, to submit their early works in accordance (in-line) with UCC main tracks. Submissions should be no longer than three single-spaced double-column pages when using the IEEE conference style template (10-point size font on 8.5×11 inch pages). The three pages include all texts, figures, tables, references, etc. related to each submission. The paper template can be found here We encourage all submission to follow the subsequent structure:
